At Entrust, it includes a doctor consultation to walk you through what the results mean.

Do I need to fast before a health screening?

Accepted Answer

It depends on your package — panels like fasting blood sugar and lipid profile (included from Basic upward) are most accurate after fasting. WhatsApp us before you come in and we'll confirm exactly how many hours to fast and whether water or black coffee is okay.

Question 3

Should I stop taking my regular medications before screening?

Accepted Answer

Most regular medications don't need to be stopped, but a few — for example diabetes medication or blood thinners — can affect specific results. Tell us what you're taking when you WhatsApp to book, and our doctor will advise whether to take it as normal or adjust the timing.

Question 4

What should I bring or wear?

Accepted Answer

Bring your IC (or passport for foreign patients) and, if relevant, any previous test results or your glasses/spectacles prescription. Wear something comfortable with sleeves that roll up easily for the blood draw — no other preparation is needed for most packages.

Can I still screen if I'm menstruating, pregnant, or breastfeeding?

Accepted Answer

Some tests are affected by menstruation, pregnancy, or breastfeeding — for example certain hormone panels or the Pap smear add-on. Mention this when you WhatsApp Dr Phuah to book, and we'll adjust which tests are done or suggest rescheduling specific ones.

What's the difference between the Basic, Essential, Premium, Executive, and Elite packages?

The five packages are cumulative — each tier includes everything in the one before it, plus more. Basic (RM100) covers core blood and urine panels; Essential (RM168) adds thyroid, Hepatitis B, and an ECG; Premium (RM388) adds tumour markers, HIV, Hepatitis A/C, and H. pylori; Executive (RM688) adds cardiac markers, Vitamin D, and ultrasound (abdomen + pelvis/prostate/bladder); Elite (RM1288) adds full sex hormones, EBV, an extended tumour marker, and a chest X-ray.

Does it include ultrasound, ECG, chest X-ray, or cancer (tumour) markers?

Accepted Answer

ECG is included from Essential upward, ultrasound (abdomen and pelvis/prostate/bladder) from Executive upward, and chest X-ray only in Elite. Tumour markers (AFP, CEA, CA19-9, PSA for men, CA125/CA15-3 for women) are included from Premium upward. If your package doesn't include one you want, it's available as an add-on — ask us when booking.

Is a doctor consultation included, or is it extra?

A doctor consultation and a personalised report are included in every package, from Basic to Elite — there's no separate consultation fee for going through your results.

Are Pap smear, mammogram, or prostate (PSA) screening covered?

Accepted Answer

PSA (prostate) is included in every package from Premium upward. A Pap smear is available as an add-on for female patients — ask us to include it when you book. Mammogram isn't part of our current packages or add-on list; we can advise you or refer you to a nearby centre for one during your consultation.

Do I need an appointment, or can I walk in?

Entrust is a 24-hour clinic and health screening is walk-in — no appointment needed, any time, every day including public holidays. You're welcome to WhatsApp Dr Phuah beforehand if you'd like to check current wait times.

How long does the whole screening take?

Accepted Answer

It depends on the package and how busy the clinic is — Basic and Essential are usually the quickest since they're blood/urine only, while Executive and Elite take longer due to the added ultrasound and more blood draws. WhatsApp ahead of your visit and we can give you a realistic estimate for that day.

When will I get my results — same day or later?

Accepted Answer

Rapid point-of-care tests (like FBC and urinalysis) are usually ready within about 15 minutes during your visit. Your full comprehensive report — including send-out lab panels like hormones and tumour markers — takes 3–5 working days. Once it's ready, we'll go through it with you and send it via WhatsApp.

Do you do health screenings at night or on weekends?

Accepted Answer

Yes — Entrust is open 24 hours a day, every day including weekends and public holidays, and health screening is walk-in with no appointment-only hours. Come whenever suits you, including after work or late at night.

Will my results be explained to me, or just handed over?

Accepted Answer

Every package includes a doctor consultation, so your results are explained to you in person, not just handed over. Your report is then also sent to you via WhatsApp for your records.

How much does it cost, and are there any hidden charges?

Can I claim this from insurance, my employer, or EPF?

Entrust is a panel clinic for a number of insurers and employers — including Mednefits, Raffles Health Insurance, AIA GP Network, Allianz Malaysia, PERKESO SEHATi, and various corporate panels — so if yours is on the list, your visit may be billed directly. For EPF Account 2 health screening withdrawals, eligibility depends on your age and which specific tests you take, so please confirm with us or EPF directly before your visit if you're planning to claim this way.

Do you issue an itemised receipt or medical report for claims?

Yes — just ask reception for an itemised receipt or a medical report when you check out, and we'll prepare one for your insurance or employer claim.

What happens if something abnormal is found?

If you have diabetes or hypertension, ask our doctor whether Essential (which adds an ECG) or Executive (which adds cardiac markers and ultrasound) is a better fit for your ongoing monitoring.
